Auditions

Dunstable Theater Collaborative will be holding open auditions for Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite, directed by Kevin Dumont. Auditions will be February 23 & 24, with callbacks on February 25, 2026, at Dunstable Town Hall at 7pm. The performances are scheduled for May 1, 2 & 3, 2026. The group rehearses on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7-9 pm, with some extra rehearsal expected in the final two weeks, and some additional Friday rehearsals may be scheduled. The audition will be a group table-read style audition, with no monologue or memorization required. SYNOPSIS: This comedic play presents three separate vignettes, each set in Suite 719 of the Plaza Hotel, using sharp wit to explore different stages of marital discontent, infidelity, and the general complexities of human relationships. The acts range from a middle-aged couple struggling with a failing marriage to a farcical climax involving frantic parents whose daughter refuses to leave the bathroom on her wedding day.

Bellhop & Waiter: 20 – 40 years old – 1 Person can play both roles
Jean McCormack: 20-40 years old – Secretary (small part)

Waiter: 20 – 40 years old – Same person as Act 1 (Male or Female)
Jesse Kiplinger: 35-50 years old
